Orchestra Campers (violin, viola, cello and bass) with playing experience should prepare all the excerpts below for their instrument, up to their current playing ability. Auditions will be held on the first day of camp for correct placement in an ensemble on Day Two. Campers who miss the first day of camp can audition on their first day of arrival. Beginning campers do not need to audition.

Band Campers (woodwinds, brass and percussion) will be automatically placed in an ensemble based on their stated level of experience, also taking into account prior camp participation. Adjustments to ensemble placement may occur throughout the first week of camp.
 

Beginning band and orchestra players begin instruction on the first day.  Plan to arrive with your instrument.

The first day of camp will not be shortened due to auditions. All campers should plan to stay for the full scheduled time:

• 9:00 am to 1:00 pm BAND
